OUR COVID-19 RESPONSE

THE ESWATINI ARTISAN COLLABORATION
In response to the economic crisis Eswatini are faced with as a result of COVID-19, Khokho Collection, Baobab Batik, Tsandza Weaving and BoMake Rural Projects have come together to form the Eswatini Artisan Collaboration. Aimed at improving the livelihoods of rural Artisans through the creation of alternative revenue streams and supporting sustainability of social businesses specialising in ethical, hand made products. As well as producing and distributing cloth face masks, the collaboration is providing education on hygiene and raising awareness amongst emaSwati of the need to reduce the spread of COVID-19. In addition to income generation for our Artisans, with the assistance of partners such as Nest, we’re also able to donate masks to our communities.
